Art Gallery Walks
In our 2-hour Art Gallery Walks, we visit 6 shows focused exclusively on contemporary art in a variety of mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, video, and installation. To keep the experience personal, we take 1-4 people at a time, although you may add people to your group for an extra fee. Galleries change their shows every 4-6 weeks, so every month our visits will be different. We curate a selection of six must-see gallery shows both in Chelsea and the Lower East Side.
Connect With Art
We start with a brief introduction over coffee in one of our favorite places in the neighborhood. You will receive printed material with the route and a summary of each artist we will see.
At first, we will invite you to explore the gallery at your own pace and explore freely. This is an important part of the experience as we are inviting you to connect intuitively with what you see.
Share Ideas
After the first impression, you are invited to ask questions and encouraged to share your thoughts. We believe that conversation and sharing different points of view makes an art experience even richer.
After your first look, we will give you key facts about the artist and relevant background in art history. This will help you place what you see in context, resulting in a deeper and more connected experience.
